Developing a sports identity requires capturing the raw energy, speed, and competitive spirit of the team. For the Battle Creek Smoke football organization, the goal was to forge a striking, modern athletic crest that commands respect on and off the field. I designed a central, winged football emblem to visually represent power, agility, and forward momentum. This dynamic core icon is anchored within a classic circular badge, utilizing a bold navy, vibrant blue, and gold color palette to establish a strong, collegiate-level authority. The typography is clean, heavily weighted, and athletic, ensuring immediate readability. To guarantee the logo’s durability across all team touchpoints, I optimized the design for extreme versatility—translating flawlessly from gritty, high-impact stadium graphics and embroidered team caps to promotional stickers and athletic gear like shaker bottles. The final identity gives the B.C. Smoke a cohesive, fierce, and premium brand presence ready for game day.
